News anchor Sharon Ní Bheoláin is a regular part of our day when we tune in for RTÉ’s Six One News, so imagine our surprise when she was caught whispering something to her co-anchor Ray Kennedy live on air.
Now, whispering to a colleague is hardly a booming error, but what she said was definitely not meant to be broadcast to thousands around the country.
Ní Bheoláin seems to say to Kennedy: “Your job is OK… this time.”
According to the Irish Independent, RTÉ have dismissed the line as a joke between colleagues, but we aren’t so sure…
Is that a warning or a threat Sharon? We are too afraid to ask…
