It has "never been easier" to get vaccinated against Covid-19, the NI health minister has said.
Walk-in vaccinations for anyone over the age of 18 are to begin in Northern Ireland this weekend. On Sunday, for the first time, people over 18 will be able to just walk into the Covid-19 Vaccination Centre at the SSE Arena Belfast without an appointment and receive a first dose of the Pfizer vaccine. The centre will be open from 8.30am until 6pm, with the walk-in service available only for first dose appointments. Announcing the news, Northern Ireland's Health Minister Robin Swann said on Twitter it has "never been easier" to get vaccinated against Covid-19.Swann also stated that appointments will be on a first-come, first-served basis and that people can still book a guaranteed time slot here. Meanwhile, last week in the Republic of Ireland, the HSE said people in the 20-29 age cohort can expect to receive a first dose of a Covid-19 vaccine by late August into early September.?BREAKING NEWS FOR ANYONE OVER 18 ?
