Over a million people in California are expected to go without power as a result of the wildfires.

50,000 people have had to evacuate their homes as a result of wildfires in the state of California. A state of emergency has since been declared in a number of counties, including Los Angeles. Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E), one of California's largest power companies, have said that over a million people in the state could be without power "for days", according to CNN. It is unclear what started the fire, but there are suspicions that it came as a result of a power line being damaged on Wednesday.
