The incident happened yesterday afternoon.

A motorist that was driving in the wrong direction nearly caused a very serious collision on the Foyle Bridge dual carriageway in Derry. This dashcam footage was posted via Facebook and the incident occurred at 15:30. It's also stated by an eyewitness that the police were waiting at the other end of the bridge. According to Derry Now, motorists had to pull their vehicles into the side of the road in order to avoid a collision with the reckless driver. Miraculously, it's reported that collision occurred as the red car dangerously sped towards the oncoming traffic from the Waterside end of the bridge. Take a look.
