WATCH: This town in Waterford took a serious battering from Storm Doris last night

Conor Heneghan

Damn nature, you scary.

Despite not sounding very threatening at all, Storm Doris made her presence felt in Ireland on Thursday, when strong winds and heavy rain affected large parts of the country.

As is always the case, it was coastal areas that felt the impact of the storm the most and the town of Tramore wasn’t spared the brunt of it.

JOE reader Noel Browne sent the video below our way on Friday and by the looks of things, we sure hope there wasn’t anyone walking close by when Storm Doris hit at high tide on Thursday night.

The weather forecast isn’t promising weather as wild for the weekend but that’s about all that can be said for it; seems like the next few days are best spent indoors.

Cheers to Noel Browne for sending this our way. Got a story for JOE? Hit us up on Facebook or Twitter, send it to our WhatsApp number 087-4001102 or mail [email protected].
