Not so much a white Christmas but a wild Christmas.

Met Éireann have issued a weather warning for five counties in the west of Ireland as high winds and heavy rain from Storm Barbara continue to make their presence felt across the country. A status yellow wind warning was issued for Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo and Sligo came into effect at 6pm on Friday and will remain in place until 12pm today. Gusts of up to 85 km/h are expected in the west and north of the country and although it will be mild with highest temperatures of 13 degrees, it won’t exactly be pleasant to go outside in. windy And we still have Storm Conor to come yet.
