A nationwide weather warning has been issued by Met Éireann

weather warning

The warning will be in place from Monday afternoon until Tuesday morning.

Having endured some really wet and windy conditions due to Storm Deirdre, Met Éireann have made it clear that we are not going to be in the clear anytime soon.

Although we have already given a forecast for next week’s weather, we have some more information about the immediate future, and it doesn’t look too good.

They issued a weather warning on Sunday night that will be in place for the entire country from Monday afternoon until Tuesday morning.

They have said that south to southeast winds will reach mean speed at times between 50 and 65km/h and gusts between 90 and 100 km/h.

They also said that winds may exceed these limits in coastal areas.

So this grim weather isn’t going to go away any time soon by the looks of it.
