The weather forecast for the weekend is looking fairly gorgeous

Weather

Get those shorts out of the drawer, it’s going to be a cracker.

Let’s put it bluntly – the weather recently has been fairly shite.

Sure there’s been a few sunny spells here and there, but for the most part it’s all been a bit of a rainy mess.

But things are finally starting to look up, with this weekend looking like it’s going to be a doozy.

Met Éireann have said that Friday will be a warm day that will stay dry in most areas with spells of sunshine. Highest temperatures of 18 to 23 or 24 degrees, warmest inland. Southerly breezes will be light to moderate.

And it doesn’t stop there. It looks like the warm weather will continue through the weekend with sunny spells and just light variable breezes to be expected.

There is a chance of a few showers, but most areas will stay dry. Highest temperatures will be between 19 and 24 degrees.

24 DEGREES.

There is also a good chance that it will stay warm early next week as well.

So if your weekend plans require being outdoors, then for once you can feel a bit confident that you won’t get absolutely soaked.
