Wetherspoons launches meal deals in Irish pubs with food and alcoholic drink from €6.50

For unspecified reasons, the pub chain says the deals will be available at slightly higher prices in its three pubs in central Dublin.

Wetherspoons has announced a range of “money-saving lunch and drinks deals” in its nine venues across Ireland.

The pub operator has said the deals will run until Halloween and will be available at its locations in Blanchardstown, Carlow, Cork, Dublin, Dún Laoghaire, Swords and Waterford.

As part of the deals, customers are able to choose from a selection of 32 meals including burgers, fish and chips, jacket potatoes, paninis, pizza, pasta and wraps, which will all be available with a drink at a reduced price from 11.30am to 5pm seven days a week.

At six of the pubs – excluding the chain’s three pubs in central Dublin for unspecified reasons – an eight-inch pizza will cost €4.50 with a soft drink and €6.50 with an alcoholic drink.

Other meals include a classic six-ounce burger, a breaded buttermilk chicken burger and a breaded vegetable burger, all served with chips.

These will be available for €6 with a soft drink and €8 with an alcoholic drink.

On top of these deals, Wetherspoons says customers will also be able to avail of a wide range of drinks at reduced prices at all times.

These include a pint of Stowford Press Mixed Berries and Thatchers, both of which are priced at €3.30.

Meanwhile, real ales Dungarvan Copper Coast and Greene King Abbot Import will cost €2.45 a pint.

A choice of spirits are also available for €3.50 and a glass of Coldwater Creek wine for €2.50.

The deals are also available at Wetherspoon’s three pubs in central Dublin but at slightly higher prices.

“Our pubs are known for their excellent range of food and drink, on offer at value-for-money prices,” Wetherspoons chairman Tim Martin said in a statement.

“Until 31 October, customers will be able to enjoy even better value on their food and drink.

“As always, staff will serve customers responsibly.”
