The National Lottery is asking players to check those tickets.

The National Lottery is asking players in Wicklow to check their tickets because one lucky player in the Garden County has scooped the €11,225,280 jackpot.

A National Lottery spokesperson said that they hope to reveal the name of the winning store in the next couple of days.

The recent win is the fifteenth highest jackpot since the Lotto was launched in 1988.

Since 1988, there have been 55 Lotto jackpot winners in Wicklow, amounting to a massive €87.2 million in jackpot prizes alone.

With over 103,000 winners in last night’s Lotto draws, the National Lottery has appealed to all of its players across the country to check their tickets to see if they are a winner.

The winning numbers are: 10, 13, 23, 24, 25, 44 and bonus number is 12.

“With a jackpot win of this amount, it is important that we take some time to inform the winning retailer and of course to give the winning ticketholder the time and space they need to let this truly life-changing win to sink in.

“If you are the lucky ticketholder please be sure to sign the back of the ticket, keep it safe and contact the National Lottery prize claims team on 01 836 4444 and we will make arrangements for you to collect your prize,” said a Lotto spokesperson.

This jackpot was close to being shared as another player in Laois fell one number short, matching five numbers and the bonus ball. However, for this player, the blow was softened by the knowledge that they won €134,412.

That ticket was purchased at Dunnes Stores at the Kyle Shopping Centre in Portlaoise.
