The man's body was discovered at a domestic residence on Saturday, October 4.

A woman (24) has been charged with the murder of man in Tipperary.

Karolina Kovacova, with an address at O'Callaghan's Lane in Carrick-on-Suir, appeared in front of a special sitting of the Clonmel District Court today where she was charged for the murder of 47-year-old Pavel Javorski.

Gardaí and emergency services were alerted to an incident at a domestic residence in the town at approximately 11pm on Saturday, October 4.

The body of Javorski, a Czechia native who had lived in in Carrick-on-Suir for several years, was found unresponsive at the residence and he was later pronounced deceased.

Kovacova was arrested and detained at a Garda station in Tipperary under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.

She was remanded in custody following this afternoon's hearing.
