Woman stabbed in head and neck with fork in Dublin restaurant

The incident in question occurred on Monday night.

Gardaí are investigating an assault incident that occurred in a restaurant in the Blanchardstown Retail Park on Monday, 1 July, at approximately 8:45pm.

A woman in her early 20s received minor injuries to her head and neck allegedly caused by a fork.

She was quickly taken to Connolly Hospital as a precaution.

A man aged in his 30s was subsequently arrested and detained at Blanchardstown Garda Station.

The man in question has been charged in relation to the incident and is due to appear before Blanchardstown District Court this morning (Wednesday, 3 July).
