Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to the two-car collision.
A woman has died and four others have been injured following a road crash in Mayo on Monday (15 August).
At around 5.50pm, Gardaí and emergency services were alerted to a collision involving two cars on the N17 at Cloonturk in Kilkelly.
Three women and two juveniles were then taken to Mayo University Hospital to be treated for their injuries after the crash.
A Garda spokesperson confirmed that one of those injured, a woman in her 90s, later passed away.
Investigating Gardaí are now appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the collision to contact them.
Any road users who were travelling in the area at the time with camera footage, including dashcam footage, are asked to make it available to Gardaí.
