Woman in her 20’s dies in Fermanagh collision

The single-vehicle collision took place last night.

A woman in her 20’s has died following a road accident in Farmanagh.

The single-vehicle collision occurred on the Ballyconnell Road shortly before 11pm last night, Monday (December 23).

The deceased was a passenger in the vehicle.

The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) said a number of other people in the car were taken to hospital, but are being treated for non-life threatening injuries.

“Collision investigation unit detectives are investigating the circumstances of the collision, and would like to hear from witnesses or anyone who may have captured dash-cam or other footage which could assist with our enquiries.

“You can call 101 and quote reference 1642 of 23/12/24 or report online,” they stated.

The PSNI have urged people to drive safe over the festive season.
