The woman stole a little under €30,000 over seven years.
A woman in her 50s in Roscommon has been charged by Gardaí in relation to a total of 80 incidents of theft by deception between 2011 and 2018.
The suspect is believed to have stolen in excess of €28,500 in dozens of incidents over a seven-year spell.
She was charged by Gardaí on Tuesday morning (17 November) following direction received by the Director of Public Prosecutions.
The woman was due to appear before Carrick-on-Shannon District Court on Tuesday morning at 10.30am.
