Yesterday we reported that
Aer Lingus had announced a sale ahead of Black Friday, with €100 reductions in flights to certain American destinations, and now Wow air have followed suit.
The Icelandic airline has today announced reduced fares to seven of its North American destinations to celebrate "Purple Friday".
Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, St Louis, Pittsburgh, Toronto and Montréal are the seven destinations you can choose from. Sounds good to us.
As well as that, Wow air are offering fares from Dublin to Iceland from €49.99 one way including taxes and charges.
The offer is available for booking from today, Tuesday, 20 November, until midnight on Sunday, 25 November, for travel between November 2018 and April 2019.
Svanhvít Fridriksdóttir, Director of Communications at WOW air, spoke about the sale, saying:
"With Christmas fast approaching, we are delighted to offer our annual Purple Friday discounts to our customers. We always say there is no better gift than the gift of travel and we are excited to continue to offer our customers even lower fares for travel to Iceland and North America just in time for the gifting season."
