Cardi B is continuing to be the political commentator that America requires in its time of need

Not the hero America deserves, but the one it needs.

Earlier in the week, Cardi B posted a video to her Instagram account where she voiced her concerns about the US government shutdown, which has now entered its 30th day. In the video, the New York rapper said: "This shit is really fucking serious bro... Our country is in a hellhole right now. I feel we need to take some sort of action... Bitch, I'm scared". Let's just say, it's not pleasant. When Lahren described Cardi B's "political ramblings" as "moronic", she decided to let her more eloquent side shine through, in a tweet which read: "You’re so blinded with racism that you don’t even realize the decisions the president you root for is destroying the country you claim to love so much .You are a perfect example on no matter how educated or smart you think you are you still a SHEEP!" There has been no response from Lahren just yet - maybe she's having a long, hard look at herself in the mirror after Cardi's comments. Cardi B 2020? We'll get behind it.
