Donald Trump, aged 72, claims to be “the youngest man”

A bold claim, you’d have to admit.

We’ve made a couple of exceptions for Donald Trump’s gaffes in the past.

As we’ve said previously, it can’t be easy to speak to the public every single day of your life, constantly conscious of making mistakes.

But that being said, he does seem to make a balls of it fairly often.

In the past we’ve seen him seriously struggle with the word “oranges“, and the word “anonymous“, but this might be the best one yet.

When asked by a journalist whether or not he was too old to run for President again, Trump’s response was fairly comical.

He said: “Well I just feel like a young man. I’m so young. I can’t believe it. I’m the youngest person — I am a young vibrant man.”

He also used the opportunity to take a jab at Joe Biden, who announced on Thursday that he would be running for President. Trump said: “I look at Joe, I don’t know about him.”

Take a look:

A solid effort.

Donald Trump is 72, while Joe Biden is 76. If either are elected in 2020, they would both become the oldest president in the country’s history.

Ronald Reagan was 73 when he was elected, and is currently the oldest president to have sat in office.
