None other than Hollywood is the latest victim of a Donald Trump Twitter rant.

Donald Trump has taken to Twitter to describe Hollywood as “racist” in one of his now infamous rants.

On Friday, Trump said that “Liberal Hollywood at the highest level” was racist, seemingly in reference to controversy over The Hunt, a controversial new film.

The Hunt depicts liberal elites hunting other humans from rural areas in America for sport.

Trump tweeted that “The movie coming out is made in order to inflame and cause chaos”, in a series of tweets. He didn’t strictly reference the movie itself, but many seem to think that is what he is referring to.

Universal Studios pulled TV and digital ads for the film after mass shootings in Ohio and El Paso, Texas, roiled the country last weekend.

These tweets come not too long after Trump has been labelled a racist by a number of high US profile politicians, including Beto O’Rourke and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

Cortez said: “When we allude to people as an invasion, as an infestation, we are directly pulling from a language of white supremacy.

“So I don’t want to hear the question ‘is this president racist?’ anymore? He is.”
