Much like our 21st Century Albums Quiz, we’ve listed the top four box office hits for each year, and the background image is of the fifth biggest box office hit of that year, just to give you a flavour of what our collective mindset was that year.
And yes, we know 2019 isn’t done yet, and we’ll probably need to amend this come December to include Star Wars: Episode IX – The Rise Of The Skywalker, but for now, this is how it stands.
