A quick update on the Ladbrokes World Cup Naps Media Betting competition after THAT game
Before you ask, nobody went for 7-1.
After the utter madness in Belo Horizonte last night, we thought a quick update on the standings was in order today.
Before we do, here's a reminder of who the 20 hacks went for in both semi-finals. Two of us had Thomas Muller to score the first, Adrian Russell went for over 2.5 goals (that was a sound move in hindsight) while Jim Gracey went for a Germany win but the rest of the bets went down hard.
As for the over all standings, here they are now, with Gareth Makim still miles ahead thanks to his Mats Hummels goalscorer bet in the quarter-finals.
|Gareth Makim- Metro||€331.50|
|Owen Cowzer - Sun||€83.50|
|Michael Scully - Mirror||€75.10|
