Great to see Fergie in good health.

Former Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson has released a video to thank football fans everywhere for their continued support and good wishes as he recovers from his recent surgery on a brain haemorrhage.

Two months ago, the managerial icon was rushed to intensive care and following a successful surgery, he has been recuperating at his Cheshire home.

Since that scare, Ferguson’s public appearances have obviously been scarce but the Premier League’s most successful manager has now released this video via Manchester United’s official Twitter account.

As you can see below, Ferguson said that he would like to “Thank the medical staff at Macclesfield, Salford Royal and Alexander hospitals – without these people that gave me such great care, I would not be sitting here today. Thank you, from me and my family.”

He adds: “This (help) has made me feel so humble, as have all of the messages that I’ve had from all over the world that are wishing me the best. The good wishes do resonate very, very strongly with me – so thank you for the support that you’ve given me. Lastly, I’ll be back later in the season to watch the team and in the meantime, all the best to Jose and the players. Thank you very much.”

It’s great to see Alex Ferguson in good health.

Take a look.
