Bookies reckon Javier Hernandez isn’t going anywhere this month

The Mexican might have been linked with a move away but looking at these odds, it looks like the Little Pea is staying put.

The Mexican might have been linked with a move away but looking at these odds, it looks like the Little Pea is staying put.

Even before the transfer window opened, Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez was talked of as a possible man on the move. With the World Cup looming, and with his opportunities at old Trafford remaining limited under David Moyes, it was thought he would want to find a new home, if even for a loan spell.

Just this morning, The Sun reported that the man they call Little Pea still wants out but Ladbrokes reckon he’s not for sale.

They have priced up the striker at a very, very skinny 1/33 to still be at United come February 1.  Sounds like somebody in there knows something, and with the continued fitness concerns over RVP and Wayne Rooney, surely David Moyes won’t let him go.

Still, with a a few unexpected deals happening this month, what are the possible destinations if Hernandez does fancy a change of scenery? Inter Milan are the favourites at 5/1 while Spurs, who could do with a bit more firepower, are at 10s. Chelsea, who also need a striker and who have been very cosy with United due to the ongoing Juan Mata move, are at 16s. Arsenal, linked with Hernandez on numerous occasions, are at 25/1 while Valencia (25/1) and Everton (33/1) are also in the mix.
