WATCH: Bray wrestler Finn Balor brought the house down on his Raw debut and made history

Paul Moore

The WWE has a new superstar and he’s Irish.

In an interview with JOE, WWE icon Triple H tipped Bray wrestler Finn Balor to be an absolute superstar in the squared circle and the Wicklow man has already made an immediate impact after dazzling on his Monday Night Raw debut.

The Demon picked up his first win of the evening in a Fatal 4-Way match against Kevin Owens, Cesaro and Rusev, but he wasn’t done there.

After picking up the pinfall victory, he secured a place in the night’s main event against Roman Reigns with the winner of that match going on to face Seth Rollins for the newly-created WWE Universal Championship next month.

Here’s what happened.

After excelling in the WWE NXT series, it’s great to see that Balor has already established himself as a serious player on the RAW roster. Make no mistake about it, all eyes will on his match against Seth Rollins at SummerSlam on August 21st.

The Irish wrestler was getting lots of love from his fellow professional athletes and deservedly so. We’re absolutely delighted for him.

If you want to learn more about his meteoric rise up the wrestling ladder then this interview he gave us is a great read.
