Tyson Fury likely to be stripped of world titles after positive drug test

Alan Loughnane

Huge news in the boxing world…

Heavyweight boxing champion Tyson Fury has been informed that he failed a VADA-conducted test for cocaine in a urine sample collected on September 22.

The failed test was first reported by ESPN’s Dan Rafael and means that Fury is likely to be stripped of his world titles.

The results of VADA’s performance enhancing test have not yet returned, according to the report.

Fury had pulled out of scheduled rematch on October 29 with Wladimir Klitschko last week after being declared medically unfit.

More to follow.
