A disappointing defeat to the Wallabies, agonising heartbreak against the All Blacks and now he’s being sacked as Bristol City manager. It has been a tough few weeks for Brian O’Driscoll.
The Mirror’s Twitter account is notable for its penchant for taking the piss at every possible opportunity and when Sean O’Driscoll was given the boot at Aston Gate, they couldn’t resist the temptation to tweet that it was his namesake and Irish rugby legend that was now out of a job.
The Leinster centre saw the humour in it all and responded about the recent run of misfortune he has been experiencing.
C’mon, it’s blow after blow at the minute! Anyone want to buy a gaff in Bristol?! pic.twitter.com/RUhtcRaY7T

He also added that all this kind of paper talk could be fuelled this weekend with a dramatic appearance for Wales in the final Autumn international.
Next thing I know I won’t be playing for Wales this weekend against Australia!

It’s all go for O’Driscoll these days.
