The GAA Hour, in association with AIB, had so much fun at our Killarney Live Event that we are taking the whole show to Castlebar this Friday (September 9).
We are going to be in Castlebar Mitchels’ An Sportlann venue from 8pm previewing next weekend’s All-Ireland final between Mayo and Dublin.
SportsJOE GAA editor Colm Parkinson will be joined by former Mayo manager James Horan, former Dublin boss Pillar Caffrey, John Casey, Ray Cosgrove and a couple of VERY special guests for a night of serious football talk and serious craic.
The infamous ‘Battle for the Hill’ of 2006 will be up for discussion, as well as some of the more recent blockbusters between the counties, and we will investigate Mayo’s chances of overturning the odds and ending their 65-year wait for Sam Maguire.
There will also be some very special prizes to give away.
