The talented forward has suffered serious hand and wrist injuries…

The biggest casualty from the brawl between Cavan and Armagh in the Ulster Football Championship on Sunday is most definitely Cavan forward Martin Dunne.

The Irish Daily Star are reporting that Dunne has suffered multiple fractures in both his hand and wrist after, it’s believed, someone walked over him during the incident at the Athletics Ground.

Dunne received the news after a scan at the Santry Sports Clinic and he now looks set to face at least four weeks on the sidelines, which will see him miss Cavan’s All Ireland Qualifier with Westmeath on June 28.

What happened is not the way one of the best attackers in the game should be ruled out action and JOE would like to wish Martin a speedy recovery.
