Chelsea v Everton betting preview

Arsenal travel to Liverpool in Saturday’s early game in the Premier League, and the sensible money should go on a home victory for Brendan Rodgers’ side.

Chelsea take on Everton at Stamford Bridge in what looks like being the stand-out fixture of this week’s Premier League games. It’s an early kick-off at the Bridge and we’re going to plump for a draw.

It may seem foolish to bet against Chelsea winning at home as they have been so dominant thus far, however we feel Everton, who have a decent record against the Londoners are ridiculously good value at 3/1 to share the spoils.

The Toffees have only been beaten four times all season and have already beaten Chelsea earlier this season at Goodison Park. Chelsea are unbeaten at home this season, but did only draw at home against West Brom and also West Ham were Big Sam deployed the team bus to frustrate Jose Mourinho.

Ladbrokes may favour Fernando Torres or Samuel Eto’o at fours for first goalscorer, but we’re tipping the Belgian winger playing the best football of his life, Eden Hazard at fives as the real value for money bet here. If you fancy Everton to score first, their new signing, Lacina Traore can be got at 9/1

In terms of a half-time/full-time, the onus will be on Chelsea to start strong, but Everton will want to nip that in the bud and we quite like the look of Everton to be leading at half-time with a draw being the full-time result, which you can get delicious odds of 18/1

Correct score is always a tricky one, but we don’t think it will be a goal extravaganza, so we think 1-1 at 15/2 represents fantastic value.
