WATCH: Punter filmed draining the spuds during this morning’s coverage of Cheltenham

When you gotta go, you gotta go, even at Cheltenham.

Today, St. Patrick’s Day, marks the final day of the Cheltenham festival and we’ll miss the buzz that one of the biggest festivals in the horse racing calendar always brings.

We’ll also miss the accidental moments of TV gold that these types of festivals always seem to deliver.

That was the case on Friday morning, when viewers tuning into ITV Racing couldn’t have helped but notice a man taking a sneaky whizz that didn’t turn out to be so sneaky at all.

Maybe the punter in question knew well where the cameras would be located and decided to drain the spuds in that spot deliberately, but something tells us that a lot more people ended up bearing witness than he would have intended.

Cheers to Value Rater for sending this our way. If you have something you would like to share with us, send it to [email protected] or hit us up on Facebook or Twitter.
