In true Man United style over recent years, you may have expected a long running transfer saga culminating in Ed Woodward not getting his man.
But it seems you would have been wrong… dead wrong.
Juventus have confirmed to various sources they’ve given Paul Pogba permission to have a medical at Manchester United.
According to The Guardian, Pogba will sign a five-year-deal with the club when he completes his medical at the Red Devils with a fee believed to be around €110 million.
The news comes just one day after Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri said he had summoned Pogba to return to Juventus training on Monday from his break after Euro 2016.
It appears there was a breakthrough in talks in the last 24 hours, but there’s been no word as of yet when the medical will take place.
But it seems not everyone is delighted with the signing…
