Court documents have revealed details of Chiesa’s claims.

Conor McGregor is being sued by fellow UFC fighter Michael Chiesa who claims he suffered physical, emotional and financial damage from McGregor’s attack on a UFC bus in April.

At a press day for UFC 223 at Brooklyn’s Barclay’s Center in April, McGregor threw a metal dolly through a bus window injuring some of the UFC fighters inside the bus.

Chiesa suffered a laceration to his face and withdrew from his scheduled fight with Anthony Pettis two days later.

McGregor would later plead guilty to a charge of disorderly conduct in July and was given five days of community service and ordered to attend anger management classes.

Court papers filed by Chiesa reveal he claims to have suffered “serious personal, economic and other injury” and “severe emotional distress, mental trauma and/or bodily harm” from the incident.

The complaint alleges that Chiesa: “Has been rendered sick, sore, lame and disabled; that he has experienced pain, suffering and a loss of enjoyment of life and will experience same in the future; that he has been obliged to expend, and will expend in the future, sums of money for medical aid and attention, as well as compensation for economic loss; that he has suffered personal injuries, lost opportunities, and economic damages; that he has been unable to attend to his usual avocation and activities, has suffered a loss and other benefits as a result and believes he will continue to suffer same in the future.”

It’s unclear as to the amount that Chiesa is suing McGregor for but it’s thought to be in excess of $25,000, as the UFC fighter said it “exceeds the jurisdictional limits of all lower courts which would otherwise have jurisdiction.”
