It’s been labelled “disgusting and degrading.”

It was confirmed last week that Conor McGregor will face Khabib Nurmagomedov on 6 October in Las Vegas at UFC 229.

The fight appears to have been in the works for some time, but the UFC had to wait until the verdict of Conor McGregor’s recent legal troubles before they could officially announce the bout.

Nurmagomedov, an undefeated Sambo fighter, has been vocal on social media and in interviews about his desire to face The Notorious in a fight.

But the fighter from Dagestan has come in for criticism in recent days after a video emerged of an interaction between Nurmagomedov and his cousin Abubakar Nurmagomedov with a homeless man.

The video, uploaded to Nurmagomedov’s Instagram story, shows a homeless man who is just finishing up a set of push-ups.

Khabib can be heard laughing in the background as the man completes the task and gets back to his feet. Khabib continues to laugh as Abubakar interacts with the homeless man. Abubakar jokingly gets into a fight stance as the man gestures towards him.

In the next clip, Abubakar is shown handing the homeless man some money. Khabib can be heard giggling as the money is exchanged in what seems to have been payment for doing the press ups.

Nurmagomedov melted the clues from his Instagram but you can see them in the tweet above.
