Big news…

UFC President Dana White has made an official offer for Floyd Mayweather to fight UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor in a boxing match.

On Friday, White went on Colin Cowherd’s “The Herd” to offer $25 million to Mayweather to fight The Notorious in a boxing match. White then said they could sit down and discuss how they would split up the pay-per-view revenue.

He also revealed that McGregor would receive $25 million for the fight as well according to MMA Fighting.

“I’ll tell you what Floyd, here’s a real offer, and I’m the guy who can actually make the offer, and I’m actually making a real offer,” White said. “We’ll pay you 25 million, we’ll pay Conor 25 million, and then well talk pay-per-view and a certain number. There is a real offer.”

White said that the promotion would build a card around the fight with a championship bout being the co-main event on the card.

“If we did Conor McGregor vs. Floyd Mayweather, there would be another championship bout as the co main event and a stacked card just like we did in New York,” White said. “And when the show was over, people would leave at least, whether they went to the event or bought it on pay-per-view, feeling like they got their money’s worth.”
