We wish him a speedy recovery.
Clare hurling manager Davy Fitzgerald has been admitted to hospital in Dublin as he undergoes tests over a health concern.
Fitzgerald could miss the All-Ireland clash with Galway on Sunday although he’s expected to recover in time to be on the sidelines in Thurles for the quarter-final.
Fitzgerald checked into a Galway clinic last night and was transferred to Dublin this morning.
During his tenure as Waterford manager in 2009, he underwent minor heart surgery to have stents inserted due to a blocked artery.
We wish him a speedy recovery.
