Ugly scenes.
England beat Sweden 2-0 in the World Cup quarter final on Saturday evening.
It was a fairly comfortable game for the English, as Sweden never really posed a threat.
Following the victory, the general consensus among football fans worldwide seems to be about just how likeable a lot of the players and coaching staff are.
Unfortunately, the same can’t be said for the fans.
It appears that a number of England fans have thrashed an IKEA in Stratford, following the result.

It’s nothing too horrible, after all, we don’t see any JCB diggers in sight, but it’s still fairly unnecessary from the English fans.
IKEA responded in a very classy manner. Fair play to them.
We are aware of a small group of fans celebrating the match result in one of our stores. Being both British and Swedish, we were on the edge of our seats during the game and we would like to say ‘grattis!’

(that’s congratulations in Swedish) to the England team for getting through to the semi-finals. In celebration, we’ve put one of the nation’s favourite dishes, fish and chips, on offer for just £1. Visit https://t.co/UCjG3OTvEj for info!
