As if things weren’t tough enough for the footballers who have come forward as victims of sexual abuse.
Former darts star Eric Bristow has said some damaging things about the former footballers who have recently come forward as victims of child sexual abuse.
Insisting that if they were ‘real men’ they would have gone back as adults to ‘sort out’ the likes of Barry Bennell, Bristow’s tweets are a strange combination of modern social media, 1970s macho bluster and a side dish of stupidity.
Read these and weep.
