Here we go again…
We haven’t been having much luck with our Premier League fourfolds recently, so this weekend we’ve decided to turn our attention to the cup.
Who knows, maybe we will be shouting about ‘the magic of the cup’ very soon.
Without further ado…
Bolton v Leeds, Draw 11/5
Three out of the last four times these sides have met have ended as a draw and we’re going for a similar result here. Bolton are rooted to the bottom of the Championship, but Neil Lennon has already talked this game up as a possible momentum shifter, so we expect plenty of fight from his side.
Crystal Palace v Stoke, Stoke 11/4
Palace haven’t been able to buy a goal as of late and we really don’t fancy them here. Stoke will feel hard done by after crashing out to Liverpool in the League Cup during the week. We expect them to make up for it here with a win.
Portsmouth v Bournemouth, Portsmouth 2/1
We’re backing a cup upset here. It’s a local derby, Pompey go in as massive underdogs so they will be massively underrated and The Cherries have far bigger fish to fry.
Liverpool v West Ham, West Ham 5/2
The last time these two sides played, The Hammers thrashed The Reds 3-0 with a startlingly brilliant performance. Liverpool reached the League Cup final during the week, but we expect their celebrations to be short lived and the London side to come out on top.
A tenner bet could win you well over a grand and it might even restore your faith in the FA Cup.
