JOE

The Premier League is on this weekend and with it comes JOE’s attempt to turn a measly €10 into over €1,000.

Every week we’ve been confident and invariably one of our selections doesn’t quite work out so we’re going for reverse psychology this weekend. We probably won’t win..sshhh, say nothing.

West Brom v Arsenal, Alexis Sanchez to score any time and Arsenal to win: 2/1

Arsenal had been downward spiralling at a rate of knots, but bounced back well against Borussia Dortmund in midweek. We expect them to continue their winning ways and of course, the brilliant Alexis Sanchez will no doubt score again.

Burnley v Aston Villa, to draw: 9/4

Burnley have suddenly exploded into life in the Premier League with wins in their last two matches whereas Villa have been less than impressive this season. They’ve drawn their last two matches and we reckon that the match at Turf Moor will end a draw too.

Manchester United v Hull City, Rooney to score two or more: 4/1

United will be buzzing after their win away to Arsenal last week whereas Hull will still be reeling following that last minute defeat at home to Spurs. Wayne Rooney is looking lean and fit and he is certainly in goalscoring form. With him on the penalties, we think he’ll get two goals at least against Steve Bruce’s men.

West Ham United v Newcastle United, Diafra Sakho to score at any time: 8/5

Both sides come into the game full of confidence and in form. Diafra Sakho has been a revelation for the Hammers this season and we think he will resume his goalscoring exploits this weekend at home to Alan Pardew’s men.

That fourfold would win you over €1200 which would be delightful just before Christmas.
