Aren’t these lads supposed to be tough?
Tough or not, there aren’t many men that wouldn’t be frightened by the unimaginable terrors of Samuel Page’s nightmare that is currently scaring plenty of folk down at the RDS.
While the expression on Paul O’Connell’s face won’t do a lot to enhance his tough guy reputation, Sean Cronin and Ian Keatley were probably the most spooked of all the Irish lads in attendance, while Mike McCarthy was willing to take on whatever ghouls crossed his path.
If that doesn’t prepare them for facing down giant and equally scary-looking Springboks at the Aviva on Saturday week, we don’t know what will.
