Martin Kaymer of Germany has won the US Open at Pinehurst.
The 29-year-old went around in 69 to finish on nine-under for the tournament, a remarkable eight shots clear of the second placed Rickie Fowler and Eric Compton.
Kaymer’s victory was his second Major after he won the 2010 PGA Championship.
