Here’s who got who in the Champions League Last 16 draw

Carl Kinsella

It’ll be mixed emotions among the fans of the Premier League teams involved after today’s draw…

Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea both drew heavyweights for their last 16 bouts. Chelsea will have to get past La Liga league leaders and frequent Champions League winners Barcelona. Spurs will have to take on 2017’s Champions League runners-up in Juventus.

Man City will feel a lot better about their draw, taking on Swiss club FC Basel.

Liverpool, who topped a handy enough group after their 7-0 demolition of Spartak Moscow, will face Porto, who currently sit atop Portugal’s top tier.

Man United drew the runners-up from Liverpool’s group and will face-off against Sevilla, a team currently sitting in La Liga’s fifth spot after getting hammered this week by Real Madrid.

Top of the bill for the Last 16, however, is Real Madrid vs PSG. Both among the favourites to win the tournament outright, PSG are dominant in Ligue 1 and Real Madrid are looking to make history with their third Champions League trophy in a row.

Shakhtar Donetsk vs AS Roma is the eighth game, in a draw that was certainly a mixed bag for the Premier League teams involved.
