Very bad news for some applicants.
Almost 300,000 Irish people applied for Euro 2016 tickets through UEFA's ticket lottery, but a pretty serious issue with applications has come to light today.
Newstalk's business correspondent Jospeh Conroy, speaking on
Lunchtime today, said that he had spoken to the FAI who clarified that no debit cards would be accepted when it comes to ticket applications, only credit cards.
According to many people who have since tried to change their payment details, the deadline for doing that elapsed at noon on Monday January 18.
The Welsh FA have provided some hope, however, clarifying that payment "may not" be accepted with a debit card, implying that payment also may be accepted, if you're lucky.

Not all hope is lost, but it looks pretty shaky for anyone who didn't use a credit card to book.
