The reality of life without Jonathan Sexton was hammered home for Leinster fans today when he was officially unveiled as a Racing Metro player.

After being one of the driving forces in the first Lions series victory in 16 years and subsequently getting married, it was back to reality for the Irish out-half this week as he got down to pre-season training with his new team-mates and was officially unveiled as a Racing Metro player after sealing a highly lucrative move from Leinster at the tail end of last season.

Sexton posed for pictures holding aloft the blue and white jersey he will wear next season and looked relaxed alongside coach Laurent Labit in a press conference while he also participated in a training session at which Racing coach Ronan O’Gara was also in attendance.
