McGregor fights Dennis Siver on January 18 in Boston and if he wins that, a featherweight title fight is up next for The Notorious.
However, White has warned people not to get too carried away: "Everybody just assumes (McGregor) is going to walk through Siver.
"Nobody thought he'd beat Dustin Poirier. Now, everybody thinks he'll walk through Siver. I don't ever count the chickens before they're hatched, man. Believe me.
"Anything can happen in this sport. We'll see what happens."
Sorry Dana, but we are already dreaming of McGregor v Aldo at Croke Park this summer.
