Will he go through with it?

Will he go through with it?

We’ll believe it when we see it, but according to Gary Neville, his Monday Night Football colleague Jamie Carragher will wear a Manchester United shirt on the first MNF of the new season.

Carragher, in case you hadn’t heard, lost a bet with Neville over the amount of goals that former Spurs midfielder Paulinho, now at Guangzhou Evergrande, would score in a season.

As a forfeit, Neville saw it to it that Carragher should have to kick Bishop Brennan up the arse wear a Manchester United jersey, with both men committing to making charitable donations as part of the package.

Carragher proved understandably reluctant to go through with the forfeit initially (see above), but going by Neville’s tweets this afternoon, he’ll endure his worst nightmare during Sky’s coverage of Manchester City and West Brom on August 10.

Like we said, we’ll believe it when we see it.
