This week, the big news was undoubtedly the first press conferences of the Martin O’Neill and Roy Keane era as they took control of the Irish team for their first training session in anticipation of the game against Latvia.

Roy was in top form, giving the media a few jokes, batting away questions and making reference to a few of his more infamous incidents in the past, while his boss Martin O’Neill was on a charm offensive with the nation’s journalists. All will be told by the action that takes place at the game tonight at the Aviva stadium of course, but the panel ponder the permutations and possibilities of what’s to come under the new regime.

Of course, they take some time to reflect on the weekend’s Premier League action with the big game between Manchester United and Arsenal possibly not going as most would have predicted, while they also look at City’s slip up, Liverpool’s win and the best of the rest.

There is one matter left, which is to cover the teams that aren’t Ireland but are still in International action and have some trivial World Cup Playoffs to go through this weekend too, which inevitably led to the important debate about whether we’re on Team Ronaldo, or Team Zlatan.
