JOE v Ladbrokes v the JOE Reader in the Ladbrokes Premier League Treble Challenge

It's that time again

JOE

It’s that time of the week again where we go to war with one of our readers, as well as Hayley O’Connor from Ladbrokes, to decide who actually knows the most soccer-y stuff about football.

OK, maybe it’s not war, but we cannot help being competitive.

Every week, we’ll be putting a shout out on Twitter for JOE readers to send us in their Premier League treble selections via the #LadbrokesTreble hashtag and every week, one lucky winner will be able to put someone else’s money where their mouth is with a free €50 bet.

Here’s this week’s selections.

JOE’s Selections

Aston Villa v Swansea,  Aston Villa to win 6/4

We’re not sure whether Tim Sherwood is the messiah or a very naughty boy. Either way, his Villa side have kept up their side of the bargain on our accumulators for the last couple of weeks.

And if it’s not broke, don’t fix it.

Newcastle v Arsenal, Arsenal to win 6/10

The Gunners will be disappointed at their midweek European exit and we expect a backlash against the Magpies here. Newcastle are on course for their usual average season and a thumping from Arsenal would not be surprising.

Southampton v Burnley, Southampton to win 1/2

These are the games the Saints have to win to keep their European hopes alive. We like Ronald Koeman and totally expect him and his Southampton team to come up with the goods here.

This comes in at around 5/1

JOE Reader’s selection

This week’s lucky reader is Paul O’Shaughnessy.

So who’ll be this week’s winner? Only time will tell.
