It’s that time of the week again where we go to war with one of our readers, as well as Hayley O’Connor from Ladbrokes, to decide who actually knows the most soccer-y stuff about football.
OK, maybe it’s not war, but we cannot help being competitive.
Every week, we’ll be putting a shout out on Twitter for JOE readers to send us in their Premier League treble selections via the #LadbrokesTreble hashtag and every week, one lucky winner will be able to put someone else’s money where their mouth is with a free €50 bet.
Here’s this week’s selections.
JOE’s Selections
Crystal Palace v West Brom, Crystal Palace to win 19/20
Palace have been on a steady rise since Pardew took over, while West Brom have been leaking goals at an alarming rate. We fancy a home win here.
Leicester v Swansea, draw 12/5
Swansea are the better side, but the Foxes are at home and fighting for survival. We have to go for the draw in this one.
Chelsea v Manchester United, draw 12/5
Nobody knows how to take the life out of a football match like José Mourinho. We reckon he’ll do it here and Chelsea will play for the draw.
JOE reader’s selection
This week’s lucky reader is Fergal Lynch.

Ladbroke’s Selection
Leicester v Swansea, Swansea to win 5/2
This looks a crazy price to us, considering the talent in both squads. We reckon the Swans will crush the Foxes.
Stoke v Southampton, Southampton to win 13/10
Another away win here with the Saints out-gunning a Stoke side that haven’t been able to buy a win in recent weeks.
Newcastle v Tottenham, Tottenham to win 13/10
The Magpies have been atrocious in recent weeks and Spurs should have enough to take all three points here.
Those are the three trebles, we wonder who’ll be lucky this week.
