This has to be the ultimate honour.
When Eliud Too won the Dublin City Marathon last October he dropped in to Second Captains’ to tell their podcast what the victory would mean for his life.
Now, Eliud has sent the lads a very sweet video from Kenya showing what winning the race has meant for him and his family.
It includes a new food store, new kitchen and at least two new cattle – Ken Early and Ciaran Murphy (‘because he is sometimes intelligent’).
Nailed on about Murph to be fair.
No Eoin McDevitt yet but we reckon Eliud is saving up his next winner’s purse for a prize McDevitt yak; the hairier the better.
